Wizard - Book 8 - Culture 6

Hi everyone! How are u today?
I hope u enjoy it.

Speaker's corner

At Hyde Park, one of the largest park in London, the northest corner is known as the speaker's corner. It is a place where people can go to make speeches or talk about wherever they want as longer as it is considered lawful at the police, which are usualy in it. Somethings however are not permited as such bad lenguage.
Same say that there is a conection between the morning in the speaker's corner and the (??) hangging gallows, where the condemned man was allowed to speak before being hangged. However it is most probable there is origins come from the worker's protests in mass demonstrations that were very common in the park during 80' and 90' centuries. Hyde park was one of the only place there is socialist party allow thogether and make speeches in the late 90' century.
Many famous people had made speeches at the speaker's corner in Hyde Park, some of them include Karl Marx, Vladimir Lenin and George orwell. Today aneone can show up and practice their freedon of speech but do arrive expecting to be heckled by the crowd.

Any doubts or comments, just post it here
Tanks and see u next week.
