Communication along the centuries
Electric telegraph, which a great means in writing in a distance, is a communication sistem that is able to transmit signals in code which represent letters, numbers and punctuation. The telegraph was invented subsequent to the developement of the safe electricity and the invention of the battery. Samuel F. B. Morse born in Charlestown, Massachusetts, was a important painter whose hobby was electricity, he developed morse code, a combination of dots and dashes, including the letters of the alphabet and the numerals. the first menssage ever sent was: What hath God wrought? numbers 23; verse 23, from the bible and it was exchanged between Baltmore and Washington DC on may 24, 1844.
The invention of television was based on the previously inventions and discoveries of many men and scientists. The first generation of television sets was mechanical. Converted into a eletronic sistem, television was first used to broadcast on a schedule basis in 1939, in the united states by their national broadcasting company NBC to only four hundred sets in the new york area. Colored televisions sets first became avaliable in 1954.
Ira Gutenberg, the inventor of the modern printing press is believed to have been borned in the german city of Mogúncia in the year 1400, Gutenberg worked as a goldsmith gem cutter as a young man and had learn about metalurgy. His first type was cast of metal, and was consisted of two hundred and nineteen separated symbols. gutemberg also had to find a ink that would not taint or be to thick, he adapted (?) for printing that had a rolling tray so that he could slide the paper in and out. The Gutenberg's bible printed in 1455, was the first bible and first book ever printed. The printing press allowed knowledge and ideas to be passed from one person to another and paved the way for schools and the midia
